Future Work
Some future directions of this project may include:
1. Miniaturizing EMG hardware with a printed circuit board
2. Designing and fabricating a lightweight exoskeleton to replace FANUC robot
3. Minimizing the number of muscle channels needed
4. Exploring different classification algorithms (SVM, PCA)
5. Transferring classifier code onto a portable microcontroller
6. Testing the system with motor nerve damage patient
